Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are asking the public to help identify the three people who allegedly robbed the Duane Reade at 1348 Broadway in Hewlett on New Year’s Day.
At 8:50 p.m. on Jan. 1, the two men and one woman were in the drug store and working together removed assorted non-prescription medication and Rogaine from the store’s shelves, according to police.
Approached by store security they physically forced their way out and fled on foot, police said.
Anyone who can identify these people or have any information about this incident can call 1-800—244-8477. All calls are kept confidential. There is an up to $5,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Arrests
LAWRENCE- Chioma Orji, 34, of Far Rockaway, was arrested for shoplifting from a warehouse store on Rockaway Turnpike, according to police.

Grand larceny — motor vehicle
INWOOD- A black 2011 Kia Sorento on Wanser Avenue was stolen between 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 and 2:15 a.m. on Jan. 28, police said.

LAWRENCE-A silver 1999 Acura Integra was on Lawrence Avenue was taken at 8 a.m. on Jan. 27, authorities said.

Larceny from auto
INWOOD- Both license plates were removed from a vehicle parked on Desibio Place between 8 and 10 p.m. on Jan. 28, officials said.
