LAWRENCE-On March 24 at 2 p.m. at a warehouse department store on Rockaway Turnpike, Guideo Persaud, 50, of Bay Shore, was arrested for shoplifting, authorities said.

Larceny from auto

WOODMERE-Between 9 p.m. on March 23, and 6:30 a.m. on March 24 on Forest Avenue, $20 in coins was stolen from a person’s car, officials said.

WOODMERE-Between March 23 at 4 p.m. and March 24 at 7:00 a.m. on Barnard Avenue, $20 in coins was stolen from someone’s car, according to police.

LAWRENCE-At 4:08 a.m. on March 25 on Bernard Street, five people on bicycles opened the driver’s side door and stole a woman and her husband’s passports from her car, police said.

Petit larceny

WOODMERE-At a fitness center on Franklin Place between 7:20 and 8:10 p.m. on March 21, U.S. cash was stolen from a wallet inside a man’s locker, authorities said.

HEWLETT-At a fitness center in Hewlett Plaza on March 24 between 7:01 and 9:15 p.m., a man’s small backpack was stolen from his locked locker, officials said.

Criminal mischief

INWOOD-Between 7 p.m. on March 22 and 10 a.m. on March 23 at an automotive repair shop on Burnside Avenue, damage was done to a fence at the shop, according to police.
