Arrests
NORTH WOODMERE-Leroy E. Bethea, 54, of Hempstead, was arrested for shoplifting at a department store on Rockaway Boulevard at 8 p.m. on May 25, police said.
CEDARHURST- Jose M. Ortiz, 24, of Cedarhurst, was arrested for possession of marijuana at the intersection of Cedarhurst and Oak avenues at 11 a.m. on May 26, according to police.
LAWRENCE-Thomas M. Hirrell, 58, of upstate Greenwood Lake, was arrested for driving while intoxicated at the intersection of Meadow Lane and Kenridge Road at 2:22 a.m. on May 23, authorities said.
Criminal Mischief to auto
ATLANTIC BEACH-A man reported that the driver’s side window of a vehicle was shattered on Broome Avenue between 5 and 6 p.m. on May 24, officials said.
