Students, teachers and administrators from the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway, The Brandeis School and Kulanu Center for Special Services marched in the Israel Day Parade on Sunday.
The parade began at Fifth Avenue and 57th Street and proceeds uptown to 74th Street. It has been an annual city event since it started as an march to celebrate the state of Israel on Riverside Drive in 1964.
