At the fundraiser, Isaac Leizerson got pancakes for his twin sons, Jake and Solly, who celebrated their fifth birthdays on that Sunday.
The fundraiser collected $15,500 and in total $70,000 (up from last year’s total of $53,000) was raised to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation that is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson’s disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensure the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson’s.
Through the past seven years, the event has raised more than $160,000 for the foundation.
