Free fruits and vegetables are being distributing today at the Gural JCC Harrison-Kerr Family Center in Lawrence.

Free food will be distributed Marion & Aaron Gural JCC’s Harrison-Kerr Family Campus at 140 Central Ave. in Lawrence on June 9, through an amalgam of civic groups and synagogues. From 3 to 4 p.m., is for seniors only. From 4 to 6 p.m., all others are welcome. Drive-thru and walk-thru is available on Winchester Place.

In response to the coronavirus pandemic, Community Chest South Shore, World of Giving Olam Chesed, Kosher Response, the Leon Meyer Fund and United for Services teamed with Beis Medrash Heichal Dovid of Lawrence, IPM, Young Israel of Hewlett, Congregation Beth Shalom, Young Israel of North Woodmere, Young Israel of Woodmere, Congregation Anshei Chesed, Khal Machzikei Torah, Young Israel of Lawrence Cedarhurst, Bais Medrash of Lawrence, Kehillas Bais Yehuda Tzvi, Bais Tefila of Inwood and the Jewish Center of Atlantic Beach to give out fruits and vegetables.
