The petting zoo at the two-day inaugural Five Towns Community Sukkot Fair attracted many children to feed and pet the animals.
Some children on the motorcycle ride had time to ponder what attraction was next.
Winky and Sleepy, and all the other elephants, remembered to provide a fun ride for the kids.
Spin the Apple seemed to put a smile on adults as well as children.
The first-ever Five Towns Community Sukkot Fair was held for two days — Oct. 16 and 17 — in Andrew J. Parise Cedarhurst Park. The Marion & Aaron Gural JCC and Community Chest South Shore partnered with several local sponsors, including Gourmet Glatt to help feature rides, games, a petting zoo, performances by 8th Day and Nachas, karate with Warren Levi Marital Arts, food and face painting.
Gural JCC President Steve Bernstein said it was “packed” on Wednesday before the rain and wind came. Thursday was too blustery for some attractions, but many made the best of it and all had appeared fun.
