Getting involved in something meaningful

Posted

The Brandeis School in Lawrence held its annual Chesed Fair on Nov. 13, where middle school students and their parents met with different charitable organizations for ideas to do something meaningful for their bar or bat mitzvah projects. Chesed is the Hebrew word for kindness.

The fair included ALEH Israel’s largest network of residential facilities for children with severe physical and cognitive disabilities and Cory Nichols who has been honored by state and local elected officials for his Cory Cares that collects money for donation to local food pantries.
