Mostly Cloudy HAFTR celebrates Dr. Seuss’s birthday

“The Cat in the Hat,” “The Lorax,” and “Hooray for Diffendoofer Day!” were just some of the books Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway faculty shared with students in celebration of Dr. Seuss’s birthday on March 2.
Kindergarten students celebrated the classic writings of Theodor Seuss Geisel by creating edible hats which resembled the iconic white and red hat which the Cat in the Hat is famous for wearing.
Throughout the day the children engaged in activities practicing rhyming words in the inimitable Seuss style.
