Dylan Gutierrez Balarezo was born at 10: 06 a.m. on Jan. 1, which made him the first baby of 2018 at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital in Far Rockaway. Dylan, who was born via a Caesarian Section, weighed 6 pounds and 13.5 ounces and was 20.5 inches long.
He is the first son of Karla Balarezo and Enrico Gutierrez, who have a daughter Karla Abigail Gutierrez. “We are very excited to celebrate the birth of Dylan Gutierrez with his mother and father,” Gerard Walsh, the chief executive officer of St. John’s, said. “The first baby of the new year is always a milestone event, and we wish Dylan and his family many happy, healthy years to come.” The family was given a variety of baby necessities donated by the hospital.
