Hewlett baseball players promote reading

Members of the Hewlett High School varsity baseball team visited all three District 14 elementary schools, Franklin Early Childhood Center, Ogden Elementary School and Hewlett Elementary School, to read to some of the younger students on March 26. The program was designed to promote the importance of reading and to inform students about the baseball team's new field which will be dedicated on April 7 at 3:30 p.m., prior to the Bulldogs’ home opener against Mineola.
