Hewlett resident Tracey Segarra on stage at LIU Post, June 15

Hewlett resident, Tracey Segarra, a marketer by day is a storyteller by night. Following this passion, she is the host and producer of her own show titled, “Now you’re talking!” Fulfilling a long-time dream from the show’s early days, nearly three years ago, Segarra will perform on Saturday, June 15 at 8 p.m., in the Krasnoff Theater at the Tilles Center at LIU Post, at 720 Northern Blvd. in Greenvale.

In honor of Father’s Day, the theme for the night is “It’s All Relative - True Family Stories.” Seven guests will share their stories, from the heartbreaking to the hilarious, discussing the ties that bind them to their families and what happens when those ties are tested.

Segarra said that stories will range from topics such as a father and son bond over a mutual secret, to a daughter’s fear for her father’s absence on one of the most important days of her life. Her featured storyteller is National Public Radio’s Ophira Eisenberg, host of the show “Ask Me Another.”
