Hewlett-Woodmere's Project Bulldog gets smaller

Miniature bulldogs available for purchase

Posted

Project Bulldog, the wildly popular art program that captured the imagination of the Hewlett-Woodmere community, lives on … now in miniature form.

Students and families of the district will have the opportunity to order specially priced, mini replicas of the original Project Bulldog sculpture. These mini-mascots, measuring approximately 12 inches in length, are being produced in high quality, unbreakable vinyl.

The bulldog’s undecorated, white finish will provide artists — of all ages and grades — the opportunity to apply original designs of their choice. Some may instead choose to use these as autograph mementos for collecting signatures of friends and classmates. Others may decide to keep their mini bulldog “as is,” to be treasured as a limited-edition toy. Proceeds from the mini bulldog sales will be reinvested in student-based art initiatives. For ordering details and more information about the mini-bulldog program, go to the official website: www. projectbulldog.net.
