Hosting a Sukkah dinner in North Woodmere

The Mulberry Place, North Woodmere home of Teri Schure and her husband Peter Bartfeld hosted a Sukkah dinner for 17 people on Oct. 16. On the menu was rice pilaf, chicken cutlets, lemon and garlic chicken and lemon fish.

In addition to those culinary delights, Alex and Olga Ubaydov, who are originally from Uzbekistan, brought a delicious traditional tandoor-style bread called Non in Uzbek and piyozli qatlama, (dough filled with fried onions and pan fried). There was also some Uzbek desserts and chocolate babka, homemade rugelah and jello fruit compote.
