Inwood resident James Goins is missing. A Silver Alert was issued by police. It is thought he might be in Queens.

Nassau County police have issued a Silver Alert for Inwood resident James Goins, who was last seen on Thursday at 7 p.m. wearing a red long sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black Fila sneakers and a black baseball-style hat with "BK" on the front.
Goins, 59, is six-feet tall, weighs 220 pounds, has brown eyes and is bald. It is thought he could of been headed to Queens. He needs medication.
The Silver Alert Program was established in order to disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.
