Inwood native named a Super Lawyer

Chris McGrath, a lawyer at Garden City-based Sullivan Papain Block McGrath & Cannavo P.C., was not only among just 5% of those attorneys in this State to be named to the 2016 New York Super Lawyers List, but he also was named as one of the Top 100 lawyers. 

Each year, Super Lawyers names the top lawyers in the New York metropolitan area through a unique multiphase selection process, which involves not only peer nomination, but, also, independent research and peer evaluation. McGrath was among those attorneys who received the highest point totals during this selection process. 

He has practiced in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury for the past 33 years, handling all phases on litigation and repeatedly is recognized as one of the top trial litigators and trial attorneys in the state. 

The Inwood native has served as president of the Nassau County Bar Association, is a special professor of law at Hofstra Law School, a two-time past chair of the judicial screening committee and a current member of the character & fitness committee for the Appellate Division of the State of New York.
