Cedarhurst-based Gural JCC collects uniforms for Israel Defense Forces

The Marion and Aaron Gural Jewish Community Center Executive Director Stacey Feldman said that resources and support are available with Israel at war.

For emotional support for those suffering with anxiety and stress, the JCC suggests emailing byachad@guraljcc.com to reach a member of the social work team.

The Gural JCC is providing individual counseling as well as pre-existing and newly developed support groups, all services free.

The JCC is collecting, with the help of community members, to collect uniforms for the Israel Defense Forces, with links to the specific combat shirts, combat pants and combat boots that they are collecting. All donations of uniforms can be dropped off at  207 Grove Ave. in Cedarhurst.

Synagogue programming will be shared on Gural JCC social media including Facebook and Instagram.

They have also started a Support Israel site page where there is the most updated information, events and means to support.
