Hewlett native Jill Santopolo’s new book “Everything After” was released on March 9.
Santopolo’s third adult novel focuses on Emily, who has her life shaken by the traumatic experience of a miscarriage.

This echoes her emotions from past life experiences and she ends up exploring a part of herself she once forgot, while allowing every passion she had to filter back into her life. As a result, she explores everything that made her happy and illustrates the person you are meant to be, and the people you are meant to be with.

A 1999 graduate of Hewlett High School, Santopolo has written “More Than Words” and “The Light We Lost,” which was optioned for a possible movie and was a Reese Witherspoon Book Club pick.

Santopolo has her books translated into more than 35 languages and named to The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, USA Today, Apple and Indie Bound bestseller lists.

She also wrote the Alec Flint Mysteries, the Sparkle Spa series and the Follow Your Heart books.

Santopolo, an associate publisher with Philomel Books an imprint of Penguin Random House, has a master’s in fine writing for children from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and a bachelor’s in English literature from Columbia.

“Everything After” was published by G.P. Putnam’s Sons, also an imprint of Penguin Random House. For more information on Santopolo, go to www.jillsantopolo.com.
