Kiwanis Club of the Five Towns donates toys to learning center

Hewlett Harbor village Deputy Clerk Maureen McCarthy and Nicole Giacopelli helped the Kiwanis Club of the Five Towns collect toys for the Five Towns Early Learning Center in Inwood. The 75-year-old Five Towns Kiwanis an active community service organization that helps those in need in the community. The Scholarship Breakfast benefits students at local high schools. The annual golf outing funds pediatric trauma kits for emergency responders. It is one of the longest existing child-care centers in Nassau County, where kids from 18 months to 5 and a half receive an educational foundation through an accredited curriculum.
