In the Cut barber shop on Lawrence Avenue in Lawrence was robbed by a man armed with a knife.

A man armed with a knife stole an undetermined amount of from a barber shop in Lawrence on June 7 at 5:30 p.m., police said.
The man entered In the Cut at 85 Lawrence Ave. and demanded money from the hair stylist, who complied and surrendered the cash, according to police. The alleged robber fled north on foot towards Mott Avenue. No other people were in the shop at the time and no injuries were reported.
Described as black, the man is 5 feet 6, weighs 140 pounds and was wearing black colored clothing. Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-8477.
