Lawrence helping as nor’easter approaches

The Village of Lawrence is reaching out to those who need help as a nor'easter approaches a little more than a week after Hurricane Sandy struck the Five Towns.

Village of Lawrence Mayor Martin Oliner announced that “ due to the delay in the restoration of power, the impending arrival of a ‘noreaster’, and the precipitous drop in temperature, we are coordinating an effort to provide alternative local housing and food accommodations for those who have yet to secure a safe place to stay."
