Mostly Cloudy Lawrence Middle School students reflect on Sept. 11

At the September 11 Remembrance Ceremony at Lawrence Middle School, students and staff gathered to remember those who lost their lives.
The school has been hosting a ceremony, which includes grades fifth through eighth, each year since Sept. 11, 2001, according to sixth grade teacher Kelly Dowling.
Students Nia Roberts, Perry Vacchio and Nicole Giordinello led their classmates in the Pledge of Allegiance before students Madison Gale, Jada Rosenberg and Stacy Portillo read poems. Lawrence Middle School show choir members also sang, “Tears in Heaven” by Eric Clapton and “God Bless America.”
