Overcast Lawrence students receive scholarships from Inwood lodge

Inwood’s Leonardo da Vinci Lodge No. 2385 (Order Sons of Italy in America) presented scholarship awards to seven students at its June 9 board meeting. In addition, the Lodge presented awards to 11 students from the Number Two and Five schools following their Moving Up ceremonies.
Recipients of these awards have succeeded in their quest in becoming doctors, lawyers, accountants, teachers, nurses and CEOs. In the past 29 years, the Lodge has awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships and is proud of the accomplishments of all scholarship recipients, and is determined to provide scholarships for deserving students in the future.
