Golf during the day and a dinner with raffle prizes at night comprised the annual spring fundraiser for Lawrence Woodmere Academy held at the Woodmere Club on April 30.
A total of 240 people attended the night time portion, including the 130 who golfed. Golfers received assorted awards. The $115,000 raised will be used to support the school’s programs.
Included in the many prizes that were auctioned off were two tickets to Game 5 of the Rangers-Capital semifinal playoff series on May 7, 3-2 Rangers overtime win.
