Three days before Christmas, County Legislator Carrie Solagés (D-Elmont) handed out donated toys and other gifts to the children of the Crossroads School for Child Development on Henry Street in Inwood.
Founded in 1991, the school serves the educational and therapeutic needs of children who require a smaller, more individualized approach to learning and offers a nurturing environment through positive relationships. Using unique programs designed to fit each child, the school aims to have children achieve their potential.
