Nassau police said a 28-year-old man was shot on Wednesday at 4:20 p.m. on Bayview Avenue in Inwood.

A 28-year-old man was shot at 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday in the 400 block of Bayview Avenue in Inwood, according to police.
Nassau County Police Officer Steven Zacchia, said the man suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Why the shooting occurred is unclear at this time and the investigation is continuing, Zacchai said.
