Master of Martial Arts

The Educational Funding Company awarded the 2010 “Top Martial Arts School Award” to Warren Levi of Warren Levi Martial Arts and Fitness on Nov. 13.

“The community has been gracious in allowing me to accomplish my goals,” said Levi, whose business is located at 398 Central Ave. in Lawrence.

Levi was flown to Washington D.C. where he was presented with the award. The award is an international award and included the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Puerto Rico, Canada, Ireland and New Zealand. It is given to someone who is doing outstanding things in their community including demonstrating leadership qualities and practicing outstanding levels of martial arts.

Owner of the martial arts school for the past four years, Levi also initiated Project Sparrow that reaches out to local schools awards deserving students with a free six-month martial arts training at his school.
