Inwood resident Nellie Dees was found, police said.
A Silver Alert was issued for Dees, who was last seen at 385 Bayview Ave. on Oct. 17 at 2:40 p.m. wearing a blue nightgown, black coat, white socks and white sneakers, according to police.
The 71-year-old woman is an Alzheimer’s patient. She is 5-feet tall, weighs 110 pounds, police said.
The Silver Alert Program was established in order to distribute immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders go missing.
