Multiple people injured in two-car Inwood crash

Several people were injured when two cars crashed head-on in Inwood on July 16.

A head-on crash involving two cars at the intersection of Sheridan Boulevard and Mott Avenue in Inwood on July 16 at 2:35 a.m., resulted in injuries to several passengers of both vehicles, according to officials at the scene.

None of the injuries appeared to be life threatening. Sheridan Boulevard was closed to traffic until the vehicles and debris were removed. Nassau County police and the Inwood and Lawrence-Cedarhurst fire departments responded to the accident.
