Police and Crime Stoppers request public's assistance

Crime Stoppers and the Nassau County Police Department are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for an alleged grand larceny on Dec. 23 in Cedarhurst.

At about 2:15 a.m. that day, the man, along with another person, allegedly unlocked a vehicle in a driveway on Cedarwood Drive and took an unspecified amount of cash, an electronic device and sunglasses. Both men are described as black with stocky builds.

Police are asking anyone with information about this incident to call (800) 244-8477. All calls are confidential. There is a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
