Power outages at 31, PSEG says

1,065 affected customers, none in the Five Towns

PSEG Long Island is reporting that there are 31 power outages affecting 1,065 customers due to the snowstorm, none in the Five Towns, of its approximately 1.1 million customers across Long Island and the Rockaways.

The outages are as far west as Oceanside and east to Mattituck in Suffolk County.

Utility officials said that "crews are working as safely and as quickly as possible to restore power," and it has the support of an additional 200 tree trimmers and more than 350 mutual assistance line personnel.
