Pumping it up in Cedarhurst

"Pump it Up", a business that offers inflatable playgrounds, opened its first Nassau County location in Cedarhurst earlier this month. The new business, located on 136 Washington Avenue, Cedarhurst, does private children’s birthday parties and events for sports teams, schools, field trips and corporate team-building.

The Cedarhurst "Pump it Up" is a 6,000 square-foot rotational double facility that offers two rooms with a total of eight inflatable structures that are over 25-feet tall. Children can bounce and tumble on a custom inflatable bounce house, slide, obstacle course, boxing arena and jousting arena. There is also an inflatable throne in the party room, reserved for birthday parties.

Part of the concept behind the activities offer at "Pump It Up" is to assist in the fight against autism and childhood obesity. The Cedarhurst "Pump it Up" also offers kosher meals every day of the week.
