Students in Tami Mann’s class at the Number Two School on Donahue Avenue in Inwood in the Lawrence School District had Hempstead Town Clerk Nasrin Ahmad serve as a guest reader.
Ahmad told the children that “readers are leaders” and read Arnold Lobel’s “Frog and Toad Together” to the class. School Principal Cindy Lee also joined the students for their reading session.
