Achiezer, a Lawrence-based Achiezer Community Resource Center, which works with other groups to help families enduring hardships ranging from illness to financial troubles, celebrated its 10th anniversary at the organization’s annual dinner on Feb. 15 at the Sands in Atlantic Beach.
Yakov Mirocznik, of Bayswater, Aron Solomon, from Cedarhurst, Far Rockaway residents David Bloom, Moshe Schreiber and Shullie Wollman; Jay Gelman and Ben Lowinger and Joel Yarmak, all from Lawrence; and Michael Krengel, of Woodmere; Achiezer’s executive board, were honored at the event.
