Refreshments, entertainment and programs at Five Towns Senior Center

A variety of activities highlighted the Five Towns Senior Center open house at the Carriage House at 37 East Rockaway Road in Hewlett last Sunday.

The five-hour event featured a brunch at 11 a.m., The Sharon Presenti Family gave a musical performance an hour later and at 1 p.m., Lisa A. Murphy, commissioner of Nassau County’s Department of Human Services spoke.

There was also a tribute to the Senior Center’s supporters and a raffle drawing for tickets to see the revival of “Anything Goes” on Broadway. The center is running a new members special as membership is $25 until the end of the year.
