For the third consecutive year Hewlett High School graduates who have died were remembered at the 2019 HHS Memorial held on Sept. 14 by the two benches on the campus that feature nameplates of the deceased alums.
Founded by Patty O’Donnell Proppe, class of 1982, the remembrance included a reading of the names and refreshments. Proppe, who has battled ovarian and uterine cancer, began with the Hewlett High School Lost Alumni group in 2013 and the related Hewlett High School..Never Forgotten..R.I.P. Facebook page.
