Members of the all-volunteer Atlantic Beach Rescue squad took part in training during a Nassau County Fire Service Academy Flood Rescue Operations class at the U.S. Coast Guard station at Jones Beach earlier this month.
The rescue squad provides pre-hospital advanced life support and technical land and water-based rescue services to the Village of Atlantic Beach and surrounding communities. To become a member, call (516) 371-2348.
