Stephen Christopher’s Time Traveling Medicine Show was the featured entertainment at the 37th annual Rock Hall Country Fair on the grounds of Rock Hall Museum in Lawrence on Oct. 21-22.
The Medicine Show performed three times on each day among the traditional historical demonstrations, early American hearth cooking, animal farm and pony rides, the harvest tent, pumpkin patch, children’s craft area, making scarecrows, craft vendors, antique cars and the food offerings.
Rock Hall was originally an 18th century plantation that morphed into the Hewlett family farm and became a Town of Hempstead museum in the 1950s. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Rock Hall, a volunteer organization that works to support the museum and seasonal programs.
