Children looked for eggs and all took part in races at the annual Father John Farrell Council 5962 Knights of Columbus Easter Egg Roll at St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Hewlett on March 31, a day before Easter, which is the Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ after he was crucified by the Romans.
The golden eggs were found by Alexa Grace Findling, 4, Mason O’Hare, 7, and Chris Mangieri, 9, who won prizes.
