Young Israel of Woodmere Sisterhoods holds Thursday event

On Thursday, Feb. 4 from 7 to 10 p.m., the Young Israel of Woodmere Sisterhood is sponsoring an event to help Israeli artists. A downturn in tourism to Israel has created a decline in sales at their galleries.

The more than 23 artists will have their work including art, Judaica, talits and jewelry on display and for sale at the synagogue at 859 Peninsula Blvd. in Woodmere.All proceeds from sales goes to the artists.
