Mostly Cloudy Talent on display at 5TCC
The Five Towns Community Center Talent show was held on Saturday, Jan. 23, with all proceeds going to the Sadie E Scott Scholarship Fund.
The show featured talent from all over the Five Towns, Rockville Centre and Brooklyn ranging from 6-years of age to adults. During the show a plaque was presented by Ashley Howell to Five Towns Community Center teen board coordinator Nicole Di Iorio that read, "You have made a difference in the lives of children and your community." One of the youngsters, Ryan Fredericks, also sang " Dear Mamma" to Di Iorio as a tribute.
The talent show focused on raising money for scholarships as well as promoting unity in the community and giving thanks to everyone that helps keep the Five Towns area going strong, Di Iorio said.
