A two-car crash on West Broadway in Woodmere resulted in an injured motorist who was taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital.

On West Broadway between Kirby and Jordan avenues in Woodmere, two cars collided at 7:45 a.m. on April 12.
One driver was taken to South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside by police ambulance. The extent of his injuries was unclear, but he was in stable condition, according to Woodmere Fire Chief Leonard Cherson.
The Woodmere Fire Department, Nassau County police and Hatzalah of the Rockaways and Nassau County responded to the scene. West Broadway was closed to traffic for approximately 20 minutes, Cherson said, before being reopened.
