A minivan landed on a fence and and four occupants had to be rescued after a two-vehicle crash in Woodmere on Jan. 24.

It took Woodmere firefighters and Nassau police emergency service nearly 30 minutes to rescue four occupants from a minivan that collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Central Avenue and Woodmere Boulevard at 8:30 a.m. last Sunday, officials said.
The crash caused the minivan to land on top of a fence. The driver of the minivan was taken to South Nassau Hospital with minor injuries. No one else was injured.
