A vehicle collided with a utility pole by Taft Avenue in Inwood on June 20 and caused downed power lines and traffic to be re-routed.

Power was restored to the Mobil gas station that was affected by the downed power lines in Inwood, said Long Island Power Authority Spokeswoman Elizabeth Flagler.
A vehicle that crashed into a utility pole on Taft Avenue caused the downing of power lines at around 1 p.m. on June 20.
However, all lanes are now open at Burnside Avenue between Wahl and the Nassau Expressway.
A Long Island Power Authority crew was dispatched to the scene to replace the pole, Flagler said.
