Mostly Cloudy Warming center open in Cedarhurst

On Thursday, Dec. 15 and Friday, Dec. 16, the Cedarhurst Senior Center at 200 Cedarhurst in Cedarhurst at Village Hall will serve as a Town of Hempstead warming center as temperatures are expected to lower than freezing on those days. The center will be open from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
“Freezing temperatures can be dangerous for everyone, especially seniors, who may have a hard time regulating their body temperature and staying warm,” Town Supervisor Anthony Santino said.
