Who’s that girl?

It’s Hewlett High alum Jaime Zeluck

If you read the front page story “He shoots, he scores!” in the Jan. 20-26 issue of the Herald, you know that Lynbrook High School alumnus Michael Doneger, 24, has been chosen as a semi-finalist in the Pepsi Max Crash the Super Bowl commercial contest.

But what you may not know is that the girl in the title role of “Elevator Girl,” is Hewlett High School alumnus Jaime Zeluck.

Zeluck, 26, moved to Los Angeles three-and-a-half years ago after graduating from Syracuse University to pursue her career in the music industry. She currently works at Sony Music in the A&R (artists and repertoire) department as part of the creative team on the publishing side of the company.

Her friend, Michael Doneger, asked her to appear as the title girl in a commercial that he wrote and directed for the contest. That video became one of the top five finalists. Three of those five will air during the Super Bowl.

Anxiously awaiting the results on February 6, no one will know if it made top three until the actual telecast.
