Teenager accosted by two men on Oxford Road
Two young men allegedly attacked and robbed a young woman in Cedarhurst at 2:50 p.m. on May 16, according to police.
The 18-year-old woman was walking on Oxford Road near Westminster Road when two men approached her. One of the men grabbed a cell phone from her hand, while the other threw her to the ground, police said. Both men then fled on foot into the Bay Harbor Mall parking lot. No injuries were reported.
One man is described as black, 16- to 19-years-old, 6-feet tall, weighing 170 pounds, wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, jeans and has a shaved head. The other is also black and 16- to 19-years-old, weighing 170 pounds, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, jeans and a multi-colored hat.
