Atlantic Beach resident Raina Russo and Luann Myers, of Belle Harbor, were honored with Women of Valor wards by The Brandeis School in Lawrence at its annual dinner dance at the Oceanside Jewish Center on March 1. In addition to recognizing the volunteer works that Russo and Myers have provided, the school celebrated its 84th year during the Saturday night event. Russo has served on the executive board for several years and has initiated many school functions and fundraisers. On the Board of Education for five years, Myers has been the co-president for the past two years and has served on the Dinner-Dance Committee for five years.
