A Silver Alert was issued for Woodmere's Lewis Leonard who went missing on Nov. 29.

The Nassau County police have issued a Silver Alert for Lewis Leonard, of Woodmere, who was last seen on Nov. 29.
Leonard, 82, is 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. A diabetic who is insulin dependent, he is also oxygen dependent and has a pacemaker.
The Silver Alert Program was established to disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.
