Light Rain Zach Bromfeld named to All-Liberty League's second team

Vassar College junior forward Zach Bromfeld, a Woodmere native and Hewlett High alumnus, attained All-Liberty League Second Team honors.

Woodmere native and Hewlett High School graduate Zach Bromfeld earned All-Liberty League Second Team honors in basketball for the Vassar College Brewers. Bromfeld, a junior forward, played in all 26 of the team’s games. He score in double digits in 20 games and in six games tallied 20 or more points. Bromfeld also recorded a double double, six times. He grabbed a single-game school record of 19 rebounds on Dec. 6, and a season-high 24 points on Feb. 1.
He was seventh in the conference with 14.5 points per game, and second in the league with 217 rebounds, a total that has him seventh on the all-time Vassar list.
